Dam Seal 504 is designed for dams in clay based soils.

Specifically formulated soluble and insoluble polymers electrochemically target clay and shale stabilisation whilst physically expand to plug pore spaces and cracks. Dam Seal is suitable for rural, civil and mining applications.

Dam Seal target specific earthen dam fail points such as channelling and seepage and can be formulated to suit exactly the geochemistry and environmental characteristics necessary to solve your water storage problems.

Whether the structural integrity of your dam is compromised through seepage, channelling or generally poor construction, Dam Seal on a cost performance basis is your best option.

Hydrostatic pressure carries the polymer into cracks and fault lines in the dam where it binds to elements within the soil, swelling to seal the faults. Dam Seal may also be applied to seeping caused by porous features in the substrate or less desirable construction materials. Our Seedling Sachet is 99.8% bio-degradable over two years. Using a Seedling Sachet hydrated with just water can provide a seedling with a source of moisture in the very early stages of establishment. If hydrated with a species suitable mixture of NPK solution and/or systemic insecticide a further level of protection is provided. Through studies we estimate that that the Seedling Sachet will reduce mortality rates by approximately 50%. This will provide a substantial cost saving when used in plantations or in conjunction with regeneration projects. If the mortality rate is reduced re-planting will also be reduced providing further savings.

The super absorbent polymer will easily give up the available NPK, insecticide and water. Once the sachet is de-hydrated any available moisture, as in a rainfall event will re-hydrate the cell.
